Ever wish your Beauty install routine could be easier? Less hectic? More organized? Well have I got something for you! I had the pleasure of interviewing our very own Vivian Devera (St. 6) and wanted to share her secrets to the smoothest Beauty trimming experience in the biz. Obviously each store in the NW operates differently but I'm confident there are some great takeaways for everyone to help your week become a bit less chaotic and a lot more fun.
Monday:
- Print "Cosmetic Weekly Notes"
- Highlight what is new and has arrived
- If there is a re-week, this is already pulled *** See Friday***
- Print copy of notes for DM during walk
- DM and Viv walk new promos and visual locations (V1, V2, F1, End-caps, FUWS)
- Touch on product inventories for each promo; make adjustments as needed
- Decide how to prioritize and allocate product to end-caps and towers
- Email reminder to DM with the following:
- Please clear off product from all visual locations in order to work efficiently Thursday AM
- Please pull (insert appropriate product here) and stage on cart
- During GWP times... Please have all bags ribboned, stuffed and cellos made
- Visual set-up
- Quick walk through with DM post install
- Walk standards!! (Create a punch list: tester pricing, tool trays, proper signage, correct POS jar clings, general maintenance)
- File away last week's promos
- Clean cart
- Collect re-week promo collateral and stage on cart
- If lost or damaged, reorder using the "Request Replacements" tab on NordVM
