I was immediately struck by how similar the idea is to Visual constructing a display window now that we don't work behind cover-ups (most of the year!) We start out with an empty space and then add in content, or props and mannis, in view of the public. Simple enough, right? The idea may seem old hat to us but it is innovative in the art world where, generally, a painting exhibition opens and the content, or work, is already installed. Street artist Dran is doing the opposite in an empty store-front in London's SoHo neighborhood with a show called Public Execution. Enjoy!
