The company recruited bloggers with a variety of body types to be their models for this amazing new campaign, and the feedback has been fantastic. Check out the below article and video when you get a chance.
http://www.refinery29.com/2015/06/89077/target-loves-every-body-campaign As stylists/visual people we are often asked "What is the highlight of your career so far?" or "What moment are you most proud of?" It is always hard to chose just one moment as we do so much just in one day, and it all changes so quickly. While it is hard to chose, there is definitely a moment I will always remember. Back in 2011 we had been challenged to make the kids department feel warmer, more "boutique" like, and to add a touch of whimsy and fun. We tested a new concept at Store #4 to see if everyone would like it, and when it was approved we decided to officially launch it at our new Salt Lake City store in the Spring of 2012. I can't tell you how many hours we spent merchandising, styling, and working on the visual elements (or yummies as we called them). We had just one person that worked on the yummies for the entire store opening! There was so much attention and love being given to a department that usually wasn't it the spotlight and it made me so happy. Of course the concept has evolved and changed since then, but I will always remember how much fun we had making huge craft paper flowers and hanging sock monkey's from the ceiling. That Kids Wear will always hold a special place in my heart. Here are some pictures of all our craft work :) I continue to get more amazing inspiration from this hashtag. Here are a few of my favorites that I found this week.
I wanted to share this fun video that goes through 100 years of female fashion. I'm torn on what past decade I wish I could have experienced/lived in, but I think it would have to be the 70's. Although I would have been more of a flower child rather than a Studio 54 regular. What decade would you want to go back and live in?

The art of looking cool and casual is a balance of careful styling: Be a bit rumpled, but purposefully so. Ballerina-inspired items should be a staple of any lady's wardrobe.
