Stumbled across this fun article on Fashion Kids, highlighting the fashion trends that can be shared between a mother and daughter. It's got everything from Hunter boots to Dolce...if you want to share a little designer with your loved ones ;)
http://www.fashionkids.nu/post/minime:formomsandbabies!/1906/155/ These are some of my favorite Anniversary moments, not only from the NW region but company wide. Some amazing work happening out there! I got the chance to really dive in and work in Lingerie today, and it was the perfect chance to share some "Good to Great" moments with you.
Here are a few more additional tips/tricks:
- When styling with Hanky Panky, remember to only use the low rise style. - Highlight matching bra and panty sets whenever possible. - If a matching bra and panty is not available, find something as close in fabrication and color as possible. It's okay if it's a little playful and fun mix and match, but we don't want it to look like it's laundry day for her and she had nothing else to wear :) - Never show head to toe pajama sets. Either show the top paired back to a panty, or a bottom with a bra top. If featuring a robe, pair back to a bra and panty. Do not put a robe on top of pajamas. - If there are special details or unique silhouettes (such as a racer back) it's okay to turn the forms (not mannequins) backwards to showcase this. Aaron sent me the link to this amazing blog, and I am addicted!!!!!!! It feeds the wanderlust soul and gives an amazing glimpse into my second favorite state, good ol' Texas. When you get a chance and want to experience the beautiful state of Texas, check it out.
http://www.onetrippass.com/blog/ Maybe it's all the grey drapes, yellow signs, and long hours...but this time of year we always tend to be a little more loopy than we normally are. Because let's face it, we as a visual family are pretty crazy as is ;)
What I love the most is that in the midst of all this madness, we still know how to laugh and have fun. Creative teams, Corporate Visual, stylists, and VM's from other regions have been posting some of their fun shenanigans on Instagram and so I wanted to share a few of my favorites. Hope you all get some well deserved rest this weekend, and get ready for some fun next week!!!!!! Just when I thought I couldn't love Free People anymore, then they launch a "Home" line. For this initial launch it is a mix of everything from textiles, ceramics, and decor. Some of the prices are a bit steep; pillows range from $70 - $220 and some of the quilts are around $400. But overall they did an amazing job of capturing that customer and getting you to imagine how dreamy it would be to come home to a house furnished in all these beautiful textiles and decorative pieces.
